What Are Nightly Notes?

• They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
• So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
• They are typed instead of handwritten,
• They're public instead of private,
• They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
• A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
• Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them

Nightly Notes; THE QUESTIONS Who impressed you the most today? What did you do all day? When did you leave the house today? Where did you go today? Why didn't you get more done today? Queston for me? ANY time you answer the questions you can email them to me and I'll post them.

It is 10:34 pm.

• who impressed me the most today? My daughter - she is focused on getting into the college of her dreams and it is driving her to new heights. It might drive me to new debts. But what are children for if not to fund? She decided that she has to go to a more challenging school and it has to have a debate team. She did a little research and the winner is! . . . a Catholic girls school. She wants to transfer as soon a paperwork can be processed. Never mind that the financial aid $$$'s have all gone to people who planned ahead. But that's cool. I get her point but I'm just settling in to this more-art less-work mode. What a dilemma!!
  

  Anyway, we need about $6,000 dollars tuition, books, fees, etc. So if you (meaning anyone at all - she even mentioned a convict from Great Expectations :-) have any portion of said $6000 please - Please call, email, write, send up a smoke signal.
  

  Had a great idea about this $6000. Art speculation! Art futures! Pay an artist (that would be me) now for work they produce later. It could work like this. Someone sends me $1000 now. Later, anytime in the next 3 years, they can claim (and receive) up to $2000 (at retail) worth of art. They have dibs on work that I produce. I could be famous one day. I have a fortune cookie to prove it could happen.
  

  Of course the other more traditional way of people buying art that's already for sale would work too. I'm sure tonight when I try to go to sleep lots of other options will come to me.
  

  
  

• what did I do all day? worked on my piece for the Radix Commission's Scavenger hunt to take place this Saturday, October 26, in Downtown Louisville. To participate come to the front steps of the Kentucky Center for the Arts at 4 pm
  
• when did I leave the house today? 3:00
  
• where did I go today? visited my father and picked up veggies from the family farm project
  
• why didn't I get more done today? I got lazy for no reason but I got a lot done. But it was a pieces and parts type of day. I sort of drifted and had to force myself to do the things on my list.
  
• Queston for you? What ARE children for? If you don't know the answer to that one here's another; In a pinch is it better to (1)beg, (2)borrow, (3)steal?
